West Lothian College HNC Contemporary Art Practice: re:CAP

17th - 21st June 2016 Re:CAP is an end of year show by HNC Contemporary Art Practice students studying at West Lothian College.

The HNC in Contemporary Art supports students to develop their own artistic skills, both practically and intellectually.   The works are a culmination of 2D, 3D and digital practices that highlight a broad ranging exploration of personal developments and investigations.  As a result, every student on the course has an offer to progress on to art school, with many students receiving multiple offers for places at Glasgow School of Art, Edinburgh College of Art, Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee. The majority of students will take up these opportunities, with some others selecting to explore other horizons.  We are delighted to present the students work in this exhibition at the end of their studies for 2015-16.

Those who are keen to find out more are welcome to attend our preview evening on Friday 17 June between 6 and 9pm.  For more information, please contact course tutor Alex Harvey, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
