Tibbs & Titterington: Contemporary Scottish Art

22 - 27 August 2015 Are we not units? We have become surrounded by the modern concrete landscape. The city from a distance is a solid form however, look closer and a fluid mass is revealed. Street level life slips the grasp of power as people appropriate the city for their own requirements. Is control over the buildings control over the people?

This exhibition brings together Fergus Tibbs and Guy Titterington to ask questions about urban living and design on a small and large scale. While referencing Modernist and Brutalist architecture, Tibbs and Titterington look at the process of constructing and fabricating in a contemporary context.
